are you the scooter type?
The word discount always attracts many because items are extremely high could be acquired at a cheaper rate and one could be lucky to get their favorite item they had been watching for a long time, but unable to acquire it because of the price. So when the word discount is displayed in stores and other places definitely there would be a crowd to satisfy their desires.
It is the same thing with discount gas powered motorized scooters. Since they are on discount it does not mean that they are lesser in quality. They have the same durability and the brand is still in good use. It could be that it has been updated with a latest version and hence the dealer would have felt that he could offer a discount.
They are user friendly as well as budget friendly too. A simple 50cc gas powered scooter can travel at a speed of 37 mph. This is extremely useful for adults and kids alike. One can acquire these scooters online by bidding or just logging onto one of the sites that are offering good discounts and get the scooter of your choice and enjoy riding the splendor vehicle.
Gas powered scooters are not meant only for off road riding. They are useful anywhere they are street legal. One can get sports models, city scooter models, off road models and the like. Each model has its own features that would attract a person interested in that type.
Gas powered motorized scooters are easy to maneuver in the city and parking is extremely easy. Since gas is a cheap fuel though its rates fluctuate often, many scooter riders prefer the gas models. One can choose the off road gas powered motorized scooter for rough terrain areas or in the hills. It is ideal and safe and though light in weight, it is hard working and can travel for many miles.
Whatever the choice of brand, style, size or shape may be, one needs to take special care to check if there is a proper discount available on the model and if possible, one can get to know the reason for the discount. It could be due to a slow moving color or model. However, these things do not affect the durability and style of the scooter.

winterpark
Winter Park Resort is great for snowboarders and skiers alike. Fantastic trees, the most snow of all destination resorts in Colorado, a cool new Village and the most convenient location of all major ski resorts in Colorado.
Trees, trees, trees - besides powder isn't that the reason to snowboard? Well Winter Park Resort has some pretty amazing trees. The new Panoramic Express, the highest six pack ski lift in North America, takes you to the top of Parsenn Bowl to experience the finest gladed and ungladed (natural) trees in Colorado. Head to the top of Mary Jane and you can experience the winter solace of 'topher's trees. Truly perfect tree skiing can be had at the Resort.
Powder, powder and more powder - if it isn't trees it's has to be the snow, and lots of it , that makes snowboarding so fun. Well here in the Grandest of all Grand Counties Winter Park Resort averages over 350 inches of the fluffy white stuff every year. Last year the total was almost 30 inches over the average topping out at 378 inches of snow. You can not find better, more consistent snowfall in Colorado.
Winterpark just opened a cool new base village last ski season that now has three new restaurants and a couple of new stores. Lime is a great place to get a margarita and a burrito after a hard day on the slopes. At the Cheeky Monk you can get the finest Belgium beers and some of the best fries and mussels around. At Goody's make it crepes and some ice cream for the kids.
And lastly what makes Winter Park Resort best for snowboarders is how close and convenient the resort is to Denver International Airport. From the airport you can be on the slopes in 2.5 hours. It is a 67 mile trip from Denver to Winterpark. and you do not have to deal with Eisenhower Tunnel traffic.

my focus.
What is the focus of our politics? mine is not on any one party line or platform, I believe in Jesus, and so His principles are the basis to my political stance. I believe in true freedom, in the idea a true free market system. no give aways, no government handouts. Minimal taxation and minimal regulation. It is the churches place to take care of the widows and the poor. Government never had or has the authority to deal with it, nor the capacity. Education also is supposed to be community and faith based, not state and federally regulated and funded, enough of that. Well I could go on forever, enough for today.
presidential quiziness
Learning some US Presidents trivia is an important part of the education of any student who goes through the American school system. The American presidents from the first to the most recent have each played an important role in the shaping of the history of the country. Learning about them helps anyone to understand the sacrifices that were required to birth the country, as well as the principles which it was founded on and has been governed under.
The first part of any US presidents quiz must concern George Washington. Washington became the first president of the country after the American Revolution. He helped build all of the basic building blocks of our government, and advocated a strong government and neutrality in foreign affairs.
Tomas Jefferson, the third president, is equally important. Generally accounted one of the country's greatest presidents, he was one of the most important figures in the creation of the declaration of independence (although that event predated his presidency.
The sixteenth president is generally accounted one of the two greatest presidents the country has ever had. Abraham Lincoln was the first republican president, and was responsible for, above all else, bringing about an end to the tradition of slavery in his country. Lincoln's assassination, like that of JFK's, is an important part of the US presidents trivia that everyone learns in today's school system.
Not all of the items that show up on a US presidents quiz are about these heroes of the past however. While there are many more of those, such as Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan, there are also those which have left a less impressive legacy.
Richard Nixon, resigning because of the Watergate scandal, is one of the more infamous chapters in the history and trivia involving American Presidents. The sad stories of both Presidents Harrison and Garfield are also important to recognize, as the two shortest serving presidents. Harrison died after a little more than a month in office, and Garfield was shot four months after being named president.
Trivia regarding the American Presidents also can look at what has happened in recent times politically in the country. The election of President Barack Obama marks the historic event of the election of the first African American president. He also recently became a member of a very select group of American presidents who have received one of the world's highest honors, the Nobel peace prize.

risks of skiing and snowboarding
Many people have already known that snowboarding and skiing are the great things they always want to do all the time. Recently, you can prove the fact that the snowboarders and skiers are increasing in number. In fact, such thing is followed by the increase of the number of injuries. Definitely, the high awareness is needed to make sure that people finally can do snowboard and ski safety.
Perhaps, you have already known about the fact that snowboarding and skiing have brought many victims every year. As a note, during the course of a year about 11 million skiers and 4 million snowboarders in the U.S. alone are on the slopes at least once. In this case, the average number of visits to the slopes is around 60 million. For every 1000 skier visits, there are around 2.5 serious medical injuries.
But, the death rate of snowboarders is 40 percent lower than alpine skiers; they are more likely to be hit by skiers gone out of control than the other way around. And then, the falling skiers will possibly cause them to be 3 to 4 times more likely to crash into something or someone. Please remember that a snowboard acts more like a seat anchor, preventing sliding. The death is usually caused from hitting something.
One of the great recommended solutions to reduce the risks of both snowboarding and skiing is that you have to take some lessons from a qualified instructor. The main important thing is to get the proper equipment. The final conclusion you will see is that you are responsible for your own safety. The best anticipation will be great to help you enjoying the great time without risks.

are your kids drinking?
High school drinking is not just something that occurs after a prom, but often is a common weekend activity. Teenagers are prone to a lot of dangers when under the influence of the alcohol. Drinking can lead to poor judgment and a risk of doing things that are regretted later.
Over 87 percent of 9th-12th grade population has experienced drinking alcohol in one form or another. There are some who tries it just for fun and others are doing it to escape problems and look cool among their peers. There are a lot of students who starts drinking at age 14 and think it's okay because it's not a drug. If one gets into a habit of binge drinking on the weekends, this can carry into college and one's adult life as this is how a habit gets formed.
Sadly, high school drinking pictures become something that is put on one's facebook or myspace page to fit in. Pictures of oneself holding a beer or other forms of alcohol beverages can also easily get passed around the school and even lead to a sports suspension. Crimes such as rape or robberies can occur under the influence. Often these are not publicized in order to protect the victim's identity and to keep them safe.
It is not only crimes that are associated with this problem but also early pregnancies, which are increasing each year. Having sex while under the influence of alcohol is one of the most common causes of these pregnancies. People are careless about protection, uninhibited and not making the best judgments.
High school students who are drinking can also be prone to accidents due to poor mental calculations. A lot of mishaps happen when teenagers are partying. The most common mishap is to be in a car accident due to impaired thinking and slowed reactions.
Parents can remind their kids that when drinking is involved, they may not remember part of an evening when inebriated, vehicle accidents can occur including fatalities and health problems can emerge that are irreversible.

Worlds biggest problems?
I found this at a site calling itself the worlds biggest problems portal:
Economic Collapse : Fragilities in the current global economy could tip the developed world into conditions not seen since the 1920s.
Peak Oil : Petroleum has powered the modern world for almost 100 years; today, many industry insiders say the we may be reaching a permanent peak in oil production.
Global Water Crisis : Over the last 50 years the human population has nearly tripled, while industrial pollution, unsustainable agriculture, and poor civic planning have decreased the overall water supply.
Species Extinction : Certain species that human beings depend upon for our food supply are going extinct; if their numbers fall too low we may face extinction ourselves.
Rapid Climate Change : While the debate rages on about the causes of climate change, global warming is an empirical fact. The problem is both a curse and blessing, in that people from different cultures will either have to work together or face mutual destruction.
Economic calamities simply create opportunity.
Peak Oil, a problem, but also an opportunity.
Global water crisis, umm yeah this is actually is a big problem...
Species Extinction... this is hard to calculate... but some populations are disappearing rapidly and that is very disturbing... bees for example, we can't live long without them.
Climate change... they say this like we had something to do with it, I find that unlikely. the climate changed back and forth between cold and warm with out us for a long time and we are well within the norm. Mostly to do with that giant fireball we call the sun.

current economic crisis
Drawing striking comparisons between the Japanese economy in 1988 and the American economy today, a new book by an author who predicted the current crisis warns it's going to get much worse before it gets better.
Vox Day, a WND columnist, asserts in "The Return of the Great Depression," by WND Books, the U.S. is only now entering the early stages of the Second Great Depression.
Day presents a fact-rich case, rooted in economic history and time-tested theory, in which he concludes that an economic contraction of very large proportions is developing.
But he contends that "due to a reactive wave of positive social mood, statistical obfuscation and understandable denial, it will take about a year for the consensus opinion to cycle through the various scenarios in descending order of optimism before the grim reality finally becomes apparent to even the casual observer."
Though the message is stark, Day believes the book is a much-needed antidote to the self-interested optimism of the financial media.
